In his eulogy, Joey's dad spoke of how, having a sick child, one always barters with God for more time, even another hour or a few minutes. Joey himself, however, had a different perspective on life than most people, calling the time we spend on Earth "only the blink of an eye."
Perhaps this is true. But sometimes a person, just by dint of character
and example, can give to people far beyond his passing. That's what Joey
did for his friends, and does now through the fund.
